About me

Hello! I'm Dr. Sam Lemoine and I am one of the Science teachers here at West Stanly High School. This is my first year at WSHS, but my 17th year overall in education. I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from UNC Pembroke, a Masters of Science in Biochemistry from UNC Greensboro, and a Doctorate in Education from Gardner-Webb. This year I am teaching Biology, Honors Biology, and Physical Science, but in the past I've taught Chemistry (Standard, Honors, AP, IB, College), Botany, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Forensic Science as well.
I grew up in New Orleans, but I've lived all over the country. I was active duty in the US Air Force from 1988-1995. My wife and I spend our breaks travelling all over the country in search of new adventures. I'm excited to work with the great staff and wonderful students at West Stanly High School!!! If you have any questions feel free to email and I will get back to you ASAP.
