All transcripts are requested through our county office website.  You need to go to, go to Resources, go to community, and the Transcript Request.  You can call SCS Central Office at 704-961-3000 if you have any questions.


Driver's Education Information
Attention Students:  
According to Board Policy 4195- Student Fees:  Beginning August 2018, the fee for Driver's Education Instruction will be $65.00 per student.  Fines or charges may be assessed for damages to school property or materials.  
Enrollment in the SCS Driver Education program is open to any student who attends a public, private, charter, or home school registered in Stanly County and meets the eligibility requirements.

The language of the DEC that parent's sign is as follows:

PURSUANT to G.G 20-11(n) and (n1), I hereby give my irrevocable consent to this school or any other educational agency in North Carolina in which the student may be enrolled prior to his/her eighteenth birthday to notify the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles whenever he/she ceases to be enrolled in that school, fails to make required progress toward a high school diploma, or is given a suspension or placement in an alternative educational setting of longer than 10 days for possession/sale of alcohol or controlled substances on school property, bringing/possessing/using a weapon on school property, or assault on school personnel on school property.

Registration Information for SCS Driver's Education:

There is a $65 registration fee that is due when registering for the SCS Driver Education class. Registration cannot be finalized without payment being received.
Payment can be made at the Board of Education located at 1000-4 N. First Street, Albemarle. Cash, check and cashier's checks are accepted. Credit card payments or electronic transfers are not available at this time. If paying with cash, the exact amount must be submitted.
Interested parties may complete the online registration link on the right side of this page but will not be scheduled for a class until the payment is received.
Due to COVID-19, there are limits on the number of students in each class and the number of classes offered through SCS. Students will be registered according to their birthdate (oldest students will receive priority).
