Chemistry Picture
Chemistry is an engaging, hands-on, and inquiry based learning experience; it provides a thorough study of the structure, properties, and interactions of matter. Laboratory investigations will be used to explore chemical principles. Relevant examples from the scientific community will be incorporated into lessons and activities. Most chemical concepts are expressed quantitatively; therefore, good math skills are necessary. After completing this course Students will be prepared to enter and become a part of a rapidly changing world as scientific advancements are altering the way that we live. We will use the scientific phenomena and technology to develop the skills associated with scientific inquiry and thought.
