Take advantage of this exciting opportunity!! The Stanly County Public Library is offering free library cards to all Stanly County Schools students!! Yes... you heard that correctly, free of charge! These library cards can be used at the main library in Albemarle, or any of the other branches (Oakboro, Locust, Badin, Norwood) to borrow physical books. They can also be used to access the free Libby app or website to borrow/download thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines to support research!
All students need to do is swing by the Media Center and pick up a short application and take it home for parents/guardians to complete. Students can return the form to Mr. Whitley in the media center and he will get the forms to the SCPL. Once the cards are made they will be sent to the school and given to the student. Parents/Guardians, please encourage your students to take advantage of this exciting opportunity and support literacy in Stanly County!!
