Agriculture Education

Welcome to the Agriculture Class!

I am delighted to be back teaching at West Stanly High School, my home school. The Agriculture program is a great opportunity to learn about all facets of Agriculture. Courses that are offered include: Agriscience Applications, Animal Science 1, Animals Science 2 Large Animal, Animal Science 2 Small Animal, Horticulture 1, Horticulture 2, and Advanced Studies. At West Stanly we offer the hands-on utilizing the barn and greenhouse located on campus. In addition to the program, we offer the FFA program for students to develop premier leadership, personal growth and career success throughout all activities at the chapter, regional, state and national level. NEW COURSE OFFERING: Vet Assisting! Interested in going into the Veterinary field, simply just want to learn more about the processes of taking care of animals, etc well Vet Assisting is the course for you.  Be sure to reach out to Mrs. Rogers for further information about the process of getting into the Vet Assisting course.
