Emily Smith

I am Emily Smith, the Distance Learning Lab Coordinator. I help facilitate the CCP courses offered through Stanly Community College and Stanly County Schools Online. This is my third year in this role. I graduated from West Stanly in 2010. I then attended Catawba College and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. I also played softball at Catawba. I am the Head Softball and coach here at West Stanly and got to coach in the 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 State Championships. I enjoy all types of sports! I live in Oakboro with my husband, Daniel and our lab, Hinkle.
