The West Stanly Players will present their spring musical Sweeney Todd: School Edition on April 24, 25 and May 1 & 2 at 7:30 pm and April 26 at 2:30 pm. One of the most popular musicals to run on Broadway, Sweeney Todd is a musical thriller by Stephen Sondheim about a barber whose family is taken and who is unjustly imprisoned by a corrupt judge. He returns to 19th century London where he teams up with crafty Mrs. Lovetts to seek revenge on those who wronged him. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door for general admission.
