Bring Your Own Device
The Stanly County School District is changing the landscape of technology in education by implementing a new and groundbreaking initiative. The Bring Your Own Device Program (BYOD) is being implemented at West Stanly High School. Students will be allowed by teacher discretion to bring in devices to use for educational purposes, as an additional resource in class. Our school is very excited about all the possibilities this pilot can offer to our students and teachers.

Students will be limited to one device for the kickoff of this pilot. Please complete the BYOD Use Policy to participate. (students must be logged in to their SCS google apps account to access). Please keep in mind the student is responsible for their own device, it is by teacher discretion, and students will be using their locked lockers to safely store the device. Devices should only be used for instructional purposes. If you have any questions please contact the school.
